Maharashtra is bordered on the northwest by Gujarat, on the north northeast by Madhya Pradesh, on the east by Andhra Pradesh, on the south by Karnatka and on the west by the Arabian sea. The state came into being in May 1960 when the former Mumbai state was recognised, with part forming Maharashtra state the remainder becoming Gujarat state. It has an area of 307,713 sq km. The capital of Maharashtra is Mumbai (population, 1991, greater city 12,596,243).
Day 1 : Arrive in Pune
Arrive in Pune by Flight/Train/Cab. Transfer to hotel. Visit nearbuy markets in Pune and famous sarovar cafes located in the heart of Pune. Overnight in Pune.
Day 2 : Pune – Mahabaleshwar
Leave for Mahabaleshwar early morning by road. Arrive at Mahabaleshwar take rest and then head out to Viena Lake for boating and horse riding. Dinner and overnight at hotel in Mahabaleshwar.
Day 3 : Mahabaleshwar
Morning breakfast at hotel and leave for the sightseeing which includes the famous Kite Point, Eco Point, Elephant Point with incredible view and then visit to the beautiful macro gardens. Leave for Pune in night by road.
Day 4 : Lavasa City
Early morning arrival back to Pune. Breakfast on the way and leave for Lavasa City in noon. Camping at arrival in lavasa the artificial city with some adventure and water activities. Dinner at the busy and beautiful lavasa market. Overnight in Lavasa.
Day 5 : Lavasa – Mumbai
Leave for Mumbai from Lavasa early morning by Cab. On the way visit to India’s top amusement park “IMAGICA” for crazy experience and reach Mumbai by evening. on arrival visit Gateway of India, Juhu Chowpati, Marine Drive, Worli Sea Link and overnight in Mumbai.
Day 6 : Mumbai – Lonavla
Early morning visit to Juhu Beach. Breakfast on local streets and leave for Lonavla. Reach Lonavla by noon rest for a while and evening bonfire and other activities lined up for the same. Overnight in Lonavla. Watch Sunrise at famous Tiger Point.
